Don't' resist it, don't be intimidated, just learn as much as you can absorb in one area. You cannot be an expert in everything. Then find friends that know the other stuff and rely upon their expertise and help in those areas.In Leadership Development, the parallels between sporting triumphs and professional excellence are many. The commonalities to drive a company, brand or team to victory also include vision, discipline, a success team, share-holder support, risk taking, persistence and patience. However, success in retail has it's own refinements when compared to success in media. Likewise, the elite in corporate banking have a knowledge base entirely different to a multi-billion pound, started-from-scratch entrepreneur.Appearances and opt of your new house: Once you get a good consultant he makes all things to do for you, also he selecting the best home for you. I may not agree with what they see, but their perception is our reality. Those around me have an opinion of who they think the real me is. Their perceived "truth" becomes the way they treat me. Their perception forms their part of the reality of our relationship.Clean the kitchen. In my company, everybody takes a turn at kitchen duty. In my household, everybody is expected to clean up their own messes and pitch in at meals. As CEO, you have to set the example - then demand that everyone follow it. You're responsible for your gains and your mistakes. Responsible people gain respect, so clean up your own messes and be responsible.Let's take an example from my own domain. I work as an Instructional Design. My organization has induction programs for new joiners who have no prior ID experience. This program introduces them to the basics of ID- theories, the processes that we follow, basically all the "how tos" about the stuff that we do. We also have regular training that looks at our weak spots and hones the skills that we already have. So these are all formal learning methods. However, if we had left it to the individual to learn about, say, how to write a storyboard, till the time they were actually beginning a project, the project would be at risk.I have been trying several different ways to re-invent myself over the past several months. This has been a very interesting journey as I am listening to all kinds of people who state in very convincing terms that they have found the way to a new life for me. They inspire and spark transformation through their passion for their company, idea, product, project, etc…That's because passion is contagious. Having a well positioned brand opens the door to a place of influence and impact. If you can't get genuinely excited about what you are doing, how do can you expect to have lasting impact and meaningful influence with people and in situations.
